How did it begin?

I (Olivier) have been through various professional experiences, and I have a general mentality of a long-life learner and an early and curious adopter in technologies.

This has logically brought me to use various online services for leisure and work.With the emergence of subscriptions models, I soon experienced also annoying drawbacks. Among these were: forgetting subscriptions, not using them, facing unwanted renewals, this with a bunch of not-so-nice feelings ranging from frustration, guilt, spending too much time on it, and having a sensation of being exploited by companies bigger than me.

I naturally tried to find some solution to palliate this situation and found various solutions that were not satisfying me. Some of them tackle parts of the issue, but I didn’t find one with a natural design, transparent, allowing to follow all online subscriptions independently from the technology. What about people who are isolated, in more fragile situations, and who are facing a rapid spread of this kind of business model on the web?After some positive discussions and feedback, I decided to build a project out of it, and I started my journey to bring more positive feelings to this experience. It would be great to feel more in control, have peace of mind, get some clever recommendations, feel safer while enjoying the possibilities offered on the Internet.
